Thermoforming is a process of creating 3D shapes such as plastic trays and clamshells by heating, forming and punching/trimming plastic sheets. A plastic sheet is first heated and then vacuum-formed with moulds to produce the required shapes and dimensions. The formed parts are then trimmed into required sizes.

Once trays are formed and trimmed, they are cleaned with a series of de-ionised water sprays before they are dried with hot air blowers. These trays are then packed into clean bags to meet our customers' stringent requirements.
